The Loveland VedaLife retreat will be held at Sunrise Ranch, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, beneath the vast expanse of the Colorado sky. This is an ideal environment for learning, reflection and transformation.
The VedaLife Yoga retreat in Loveland begins on Friday afternoon, January 9th. Registration starts at 3:30pm. There will be a full dinner that evening, followed by an evening workshop and a kirtan. The next two days begin with a combination of yoga, sacred music and meditation, and end with an enchanting performance of sacred music that will inspire you to get up and dance. During the day there are more workshops and a restorative yoga session. Delicious vegetarian meals are served throughout the weekend. The retreat ends on Sunday at 3pm.

Gopi Sandal is an essence-seeking yogini who has long sought out ways to uncover the natural joy and experience of the Divine within her heart and to make that journey accessible to others. Gopi has been practicing yoga for over 30 years, and has been a certified teacher for 19 years. She studied the technique of B.K.S. lyengar with his senior students as well as a variety of other styles such as Astanga, Vinyasa and Kundalini, all of which she incorporates into her classes. Gopi has spent the last 30 years studying the philosophy and practice of Bhakti Yoga. 10 of these years she spent in ashrams in the UK and India in deep meditation and service. Gopi lives in an intentional community in Kansas where she offers classes, workshops and retreats as well as energy healing and massage. |

Mahatma has been practicing and teaching Bhakti Yoga for over 38 years. Born in LA, he studied philosophy and music at UC Berkeley and has taught classes in over 15 countries. Mahatma is an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician and has produced five meditation CDs combining powerful transcendental mantras with contemporary meditative music that he performs live all over the world. |

Raised in both the US and India, Gaura Vani’s musical roots are deeply planted in both western and eastern musical styles. His many musical projects include Indian Devotional music, Rock and Electronica. Gaura plays a stylish version of Qawali harmonium and is a mesmerizing singer. While growing up, he studied sacred music in the timeless town of Vrindavan, India, where he learned ancient prayers in Sanskrit and Bengali and to sing and play traditional instruments like the harmonium and mrdanga drum. Twenty-five years later he continues to share the magic of soul-inspired music together with his kirtan ensemble, As Kindred Spirits, performing around the world from Europe to Asia to the Americas.

Divya Alter is a truly inspiring spiritual teacher with over 18 years of experience studying and teaching Indian spiritual philosophy, yoga, sacred singing and Sanskrit throughout Europe, India and the US. Originally from Bulgaria, she studied and taught Sanskrit in Sweden and India, and has assisted in the translation of many ancient texts. She also completed traditional Indian vocal training while living in India. Her singing is as spiritually impacting as it is beautiful. She is a co-founder of Life Learning Continuum, a non-profit educational organization, through which she shares her deep knowledge and realizations around the world.
